Monday night was senior Kenzie Renfrow’s night as the Grayson County Lady Cougars hosted the Owensboro Lady Devils.

It was already set to be a memorable night for Renfrow as her first points of the night would mark her 1,000th point, which she scored within the first minutes. But it was Renfrow’s triple-double that secured a 17-point win over the Lady Devils.

Renfrow led the night with 25 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 steals. In addition to six assists, a mere four assists away from a quadruple-double. Senior Bailey Snyder contributed to the victory with eight points, followed by freshman Annie Kiper with seven points.

The Lady Devils were at their heels in the second period, coming within one possession. However, the Lady Cougars would not turn over the lead, breaking away in the third quarter with an 18-point lead. Final score: 57-40.

The Lady Cougars improve to 10-4 on the season.
