A man was seriously injured after a single vehicle rollover accident on Millerstown Road Thursday.

The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a rollover crash near the 4000 block of Millerstown Road in Clarkson Thursday morning.

When deputies arrived after 10 a.m. Thursday, they found 41-year-old James Horton, of Clarkson, had been seriously injured in a single-vehicle rollover accident.

According to GCSO Deputy Corey Knochel, witnesses stated that Horton had been ejected from the vehicle and was unconscious when they got to him.

Knochel said that, according to the witnesses and evidence at the scene, Horton was heading toward Millerstown when he left the right side of the road, over-corrected, and then went off the left side of the road, causing his truck to flip several times before coming to rest on its top.

According to Knochel, Horton was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital by ambulance and, from there, he was transported to University of Louisville Hospital due to the severity of his injuries.

GCSO was assisted at the scene by Grayson County EMS, the Kentucky State Police, and Clarkson Fire Department.
